All Veterans know sacrifice, know loyalty and respect.  When we leave service, we know disappointment and periods of feeling misunderstood, or worse, rejected for our service.  People who respect the outdoors, the current, the wind, the energy in water, also respect sacrifice.  It takes a heart of adventure and courage to serve.  It takes the same heart to explore and again feel vulnerable to heal.
